Accenture,
one of the world's largest consulting
and technology service firms, expects
its outsourcing business to grow
in double digits in the coming years,
Chief Executive Bill Green said
in an interview published on Sunday.
Accenture, a chief rival to International
Business Machines Corp., expects
growth at its technology business
to be slower, Green said.
"We will have growth of double
digits in outsourcing," Green
told El Pais newspaper, in response
to a question about business prospects
for the coming years.
"Technology will continue to
grow without reaching double digits,
with a steady development over time
although varying greatly according
to country," he added.
Accenture posted a 70 per cent rise
in its quarterly net profit last
month to $209.8 million, helped
by one-off gains, but its operating
margins came under pressure due
to cost overruns and project delays.
